  1. DONT USE A COMPRESSOR!!!!

the air pressure should only be at about 7 psi if my memory serves me well ,if you use a compressor you will probably blow your oil seals out also i would try topping up with fork oil first you wont need much but make sure you have the same amount in each leg ,if you still need more suspension then try adding some air with a bicycle pump.

  2. canny old bike the 420...me personally i would remove the old fork oil ,replace with a thicker grade, plus a little more..measure what comes out theres probobly not enough in...as for the air valve no more than 8-10 psi of the forks will blow...

  3. the caps are for air ride suspension. you can adjust how stiff or soft you want the bike to ride. Just take off the valves and fill up the shocks with an air pump or compressor.

  4. Sounds as if your fork seals have gone, not the type of job to tackle yourself if you haven't done the before. A few special tools are needed and a lot of knowledge. Take them to the shop they will cost about £70.00 all in.
