Motorbike CC limit on motorway?

I’m thinking of investing in a motorbike and was wondering what the smallest CC limit is on a motorway?

Any advice appreciated.

It depends on where you live.  Check with your department of mortor vehicles or equivalent.  No way any one here can answer you correctly without knowing which territory's laws apply.

I used to ride a 125's, before moving on to a 600. In all honesty, for motorway performance, the smallest allowable engine size is barely up to the task: Even a 125cc four-stroke engine will only propel you and your motorcycle to about 75-80mph depending on its aero and your weight. For that mediocre performance you'll be holding the throttle to the stop all the way and giving the engine a whole load of grief in the process.

Get a 500cc bike for motorway use - something like a used Kawasaki ER5 or Honda CB500 is good value to buy, cheap to run and will deliver more comfort and efficiency than wringing a smaller bike to within an inch of its life.
