Motorbike gear changing?

You know how ya change gears to speed up. . . How do ya change em to slow down? or do ya just put ur foot on the brake?

to slow down you grab the clutch, kick down on the gear shift lever then smoothly release the clutch. you will then be one gear lower.  most bikes have a shift pattern of 1-N-2-3-4-5-6 meaning that if yo are in neutral you must kick the shifter downward to get into first, and then shift upward through neutral to get to second

you pretty much just change down like say your in third gear and your coming up to a turn when you shift to second the bike will feel much heavier and slow down unless it's a really sharp turn that is all you need to do
