Motorcross bike 2 stroke?

i recently bought a kx 100 after riding it for two days i found out the owner before me put 2 stroke oil in the gear oil chamber i realized my gears were sticking slightly is it too late or have i ruined gears by riding it can anyone help please

Drain the oil,then go with a lighter grade oil then what it calls for and fill it back up were it needs to be.. Then ride the bike around the yard a time or two, This will mix with the premix oil and get it out of the other places where just shaking the bike around cant get,,Then drain the oil..Hot oil will drain better then cold oil...Oil brakes down when it gets hot(thinner) Then fill it back up with the grade oil it calls for and your good to go.. I would still change the oil again in a week or two...
