Question:

Motorcycle Exhaust?

Two questions with this.

Firstly, I have a 2008 Kawasaki ZX-6R. I know it's a carry over from the 07' model so I'm assuming this means that most after-market parts made for the 07 will fit the 08'. Is this correct?

Secondly I'm wanting to move the under-tail exhaust out and over to the right-side, however I'm unsure if I need to buy a full exhaust system to do this or if I can use a slip-on?

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

  1. you can only use the under tail exhaust.

thats all you are going to find for it.

  2. Use micron exhost for earthquake sounding.. Dudds..

  3. Most of the parts are readily available for that bike. As far as the exhaust goes- it all depends on what you want it for. If its just for looks then go with a slip on. If its for performance then definately go with a full system but get ready to spend some benjamins! A full exhaust for that bike starts around $1000 and just goes up from there! Also if your doing a full system you will have to buy a power commander(or something similar) to remap your fuel, ecu, etc. and thats somewhere around $350-400! Hope this helps.
