I live in San Diego California. I was wondering how much do you think i would have to pay for insurance if im 20 and my brother is 25?

He has an 08 Kawasaki 650R

I have an 08 ZX6R

it would be cheaper for your bro since he is 25. other factors will include driving records. liability will be around 20-40 every month. and full coverage can be from 50-400 every month. get a free online quote here...

since you live in sd. try the pennysaver and try those local insurance brokers. they are pretty cheap but im not sure about the coverage.

ARe you talking full coverage here, or minimum liability?  What's the cc's of the bikes?  Liability only, maybe $400 a year.  Or less.   Full coverage - half the price of the bike.  maybe more.

Do NOT ask other people what they pay for insurance because even if they are the same again with the same bike, there are all kinds of factors where the other guy is paying $500/yr and you may have to pay $1,000 or even $2000. Many people say they pay only $200/yr but often neglect to say they only carry liabilty and nothing else.

State Farm is one company that is known to have better rates on sportbikes for many people. Shop Around!
