Motorcycle exhaust help?

i just got a CFR Exhaust for my 07 harley v-rod but it seems to be running really hot and theres a lot of carbon coming out of the exhaust and going on to my rim and rotor, how can i fix this? i got the chip configured to that exhaust and everything.

Call you HD dealer. Tell them what's going on. They should give some advice or just bring it in for an inspection.

You shortened your pipe by about 2 feet and your complaning about the stuff that comes out of the muffler?

I am assuming you kept the Harley-Davidson stock ECU "chip" in the bike. You should consider going to an aftermarket ECU (Electonic Control Unit). Several HD technicians say they get the best results when using aftermarket ECU for EFI adjustements. I used a Dynojet powercomander III, when I switched out my pipes. good luck.
