Motorcycle or car design?

what courses do you take to get into car or motorcycle design????

It used to be "Industrial Design" which was taught through art schools with a bit of engineering.

Now, you'd probably be best served with Computer graphics and CAD courses. It is my understanding that a physical model isn't even built anymore.

Still- if you can't draw a single (no jerky hashmarks) freehand aero-dynamic line on an 18 x 24" piece of paper, you are missing the "feel" of the contours and how they flow. Tactility is still part of it all. Just watch a car lot for an hour. If the buyer isn't running a hand along the car, they sure are eyeing the curves. (get a newsprint pad and fill it- noone needs to see it and you get to practice a lot. It's more of a skill than a talent.)
