Motorcycle question

Question

I'm looking for a new bike. I'm not a very tall guy, 5 ft 8. any suggestions?

The Hyosung GV650     is a good cruiser and it has adjustable controls for tall guys. Hyosung is not a cheap Chinese import but rather a well made motorcycle. Easy to ride. Standards and Cruisers are easier to learn on that sport bikes. They also have a GV250 which is a nice little bike. I have a Kymco Venox and I am about your size it is a good fit for me. I have friends that ride them and they are over 6ft. tall. Kymco  is another good company not from china. Both of these companies have been in business since the 60's and use to build motors for the Japanese brands.

Go to some dealerships and sit on the bikes to see what fits.

2008 Honda dual sports.  The same source for dirt bikes if you can tow or carry anything not street legal.

I'm around the same height and have ridden most sizes of bike with no problem - in fact some bikes like Ducatis for instance can feel kinda "shrimpy" under me.

Anyway it depends what type of bike you want, cruiser or sports, tell us your taste and we might have suggestions.

for cruisers

honda rebel 250 or honda shadow 500

rebel isn't the ideal bike for highway speeds tho, so if it's anything other then general intown riding, you're gonna want 500 or higher.
