Motorcycle safety foundation help?

I want to take the motorcycle safety course because I have never driven a motorcycle before. The problem is that the closest course is about 70 miles away from my house and I know the course is a few days long. Should I just skip the course and practice on a bike in the parking lot? thanks

Take the course.

Find someone to stay with.

Have someone drive you there every day.

Stay in a motel.

It's a 15 hour course, and is usually done it two days, so you'd be staying just one night. The course I took was a one day course, a very long Saturday.

It's a worthwhile course.

skip the course, skip the parking lot, buy a zx-14, ask someone how to start it,

wind it out, dump the clutch.....

thats what we call the "drown or swim" technique

Forget the course and you can do it yourself by practice after studying online instructions from others.
