  1. Hi, Gee life's fraught aint it You have a few options here

    1. Tell him as soon as he gets home (not over the phone) that you had an accident as you were trying to help by mowing the lawn to save him time so he could be out riding his bike with his friends rather than mowing his lawn(use all the "his") take him in the garage and show him the damage, keep the garage door open,it`s good to have a large area to run out through.

2.Phone the police, ask them for the phone number of the local bike thief, invite him round pronto before hubby arrives home

3,Go to your local chemist (to you your local drugstore) and search the nail varnish counter, you won`t find a good match but if you poke him in the eye,or use your mace spray he may not notice to much.

    4. Cook his favorite dinner, buy a case of his favorite beer, put "your" tunes on the cd or rent his fave dvd,dim the lights, light some scented candles, put on that skimpy lingere, use your nicest perfume, take him to that special place/time(your female-you know when) and softly whisper"sorry about the bike"

5.Mimic that illness girls get, I think you call it PMS,Don`t let him in the garage untill after dinner which you toss on the table with all the venom of a striking viper, telling him that next time the `b`grass needs cutting he can do it himself as that ruddy bikes always in the way and you have just broken all your nails trying to prevent the mower scratching it and he should get over it as it`s only j*p mass produced fast plastic and will be old hat and replaced in 18 months!

6,ask him for a lift to your local sprayshop taking scratched tank/fender with you offering to pay for the respray (Don`t tell him you are using his credit card to pay, wait till the bill arrives and use ploy 4 to combat)

6.Go to the woods, find big bear, knock him out, take to the garage, leave on the floor-close to the bike-tell hubby it was trying to steal his second love so you, his first love saved it by knocking the bear out with the lawn mower.

7.find an "i love you"decal, stick over offending area and tell him if he really loves you he would never take such a token of total devotion off.

    8.leave "run away"

All joking apart, TELL HUBBY, nothings worse than finding out somethings happened and it`s been hidden,he will feel hurt, robbed and cheated, honesty pays,so tell him straight away, accidents happen we all have them and if we all owned up the world would be a better place. If he`s a good man he`ll be miffed but nothing more,if he`s not see 8. He can buy touch up paint from mr Yamaha but it`s probably on a visable surface,so finish will be comprimised so a new paint job over next winter may have to be thought about, but  think of all the latest trick blue/purple  paints around now,mmm could be a blessing in disguise.

Take care all the best J.C.

  2. well if it is a standard yamaha colour you should be able to go to your dealer with the model of your bike and they will have touch up paint. If not try www.bikebandit.com and it will have a colour chart for the bike

  3. 1, get the touch up paint.  #2 tell your husband happened.  #3 Let him do the touch up paint, poorly applied touch up paint will show badly.
