Do I get a 600 or a 500 or is there something better. Should I get some sort of beginner bike first? I know I like BMW bikes and I like sport bikes. I do not want to fall though so easy handing is important.

  1. Any size Sportster.  Good ride and lots of class. No plastic junk on these!

  2. the kawasaki ninja 250r 2008 model is definatly for you. especially if it's your first bike. they are cheaper extremely dependable and very forgiving for a beginner and their top speed with someone your size would be like 100mph/160kmph depending on what system you use. it has a sport bike look and feel, very comfortable, handling is easy and isn't too heavy so dropping shouldn't be too big of an issue and it helps that they have great gas mileage. no question this bike is for you.

  3. buy a sportster 883...harley davidson....tons of used ones out there for good prices....easy riding...make for women

  4. reasonable size bike for a beginner,,   650 twin.   in the sports bikes..

have a look at these for starters.

  5. the ninja 250r is a great bike, but the 08 is nearly impossible to find and in fact kawaski has stopped production on them.  The 09 should be out in early fall though.
