Motorcycle wont start....no crank/no display?

Question

its a 2007 cbr600. i laid it down back in november and i've only ridden it a few times the past several months. im guessing the battery is killed but im no expert.

the lights come on dimmed, the turn signals are weak, the display comes on but not everything shows. When i hit the ignition button it makes a rapid clicking sound. when i turn the key to the on position i hear the electrical system boot up also. if this sounds familiar or you are familiar with these symptoms please help me out so i can get riding again. thanks

btw i have service warranty and prepaid maintenance through the dealership and they say repair/diagnosis wouldn't be covered...b******s...

You can't charge a dead battery! You have to replace the battery acid if you want to charge it. Or you can buy a new battery $40 tops.

Thats's a symptom of a battery that needs to be charged up.  Put it on a Battery Tender Jr overnight.

Sounds like the battery would be a good place to start. Check the voltage and see if it is close to 12 v. If not try charging it, if it will take a charge, or replace it.
