Motorcycle=scary or fun?

Question

So tomorrow I have to ride on my Uncle's motorcycle. What is it like? I'm scared. Like a lot. Please help Is there any reason to be scared? Please don't tell me to tell him, I have...... HELP. I'm scared and I need to know what riding a motorcycle is like.......so help.

I have a great time on my friends bikes.  First rule of thumb, don't get tensed up (physically) - you need to keep your body relaxed, cause it's when a passenger freaks out and sits up or jerks their body that causes a lot of accidents.  It's really really fun and you don't need to worry - it's not scary at all.  Have him tell you what kind of signals he will use - like my friend taps my hands if he is going to speed up so I know to hold on tight.  Also, just make sure you hold on and follow all of his instructions.  Don't' lean into the curves or try to sit up in them - just keep your back straight with the wheel of the bike - don't move your body at all - keep your body relaxed and like you are sitting in a chair - so picture if you are sitting in a chair and someone holds onto the back of it and tips it to the side like 30 degrees, your body will still be lined up with the back of the chair, even your head and you will be also tipped 30 degrees.  It may be scary while you are thinking of it, but I guarantee you will want to go again as much as you can!  Wear a helmet with a face guard so the wind doesn't get in your face - I hate that feeling - it's like I can't breathe.

It's loads of fun

you'll probably be better at rideing a motercycle if you've ridden a bike before, like you'll be better at balanceing

Don't be scared, it's a lot of fun. The only scary part is that being a passenger you don't have any control of what's going on but I'm sure your uncle is a responsible driver and wil be careful with you on the back of his bike.

On a bike, it pays to have a little fear. I don't mean the kind that makes you freeze in an emergency situation. I mean the kind that gives you a healthy respect for how quickly a poorly ridden motorcycle can make you into a bag of meat.

Motorcycle + respect = fun

Motorcycle + stupidity = bag of meat (and they use cat litter to soak the rest of you out of the concrete)

never ridden as a passenger but as a driver its very fun not scary and like someone above said just relax.
