Motorola DCT 2244/1661/abcdeg locked up

Question

Hello, i hope some one can help me with my problem. I have a Motorola DCT 2244/1661/abcdeg and my dumb ace friend got me to try some digital cable filter he bought on the internet, and we did as instructed and try to reset my box but now all it does is display a 0 in the LCD window, is there any way to fix my box ?? it wont do any thing at all !
