I've had my phone for about 6 months and the battery is dieing very fast. If I stay on my phone for about 5 minutes, it dies.I was wondering how much the battery cost and how long it lasts for. Would It be more worth it just to buy a new kind of cell phone ?

additional notes:

I got the same kind of phone last November and the hard drive stopped working and nothing worked so I needed a new phone.

So to me, these phone pretty much suck. So what should I do!?!

PLEASE HELP !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  1. I had this phone since November 2006.  The reception is good.  This is the best phone I've ever had because I can hear the person on the other end as if they were next to me.  Unfortunately, the battery is starting to die off.  Without using it, the battery will last 5-7 days before I need to charge it.  If I use the phone, it would probably last 1 day, maybe just a couple hours.  It's a nice phone to have because you get to look at yourself in the mirror, in the front of the phone.  Unfortunately, the battery doesn't last that long.  This November, our contract is up.  We'll most likely get a new phone.  Since you just got this phone, you're better off paying $60 or whatever it costs to replace the battery.  I think your batter may be defective.  Paying $60 for a  new battery is cheaper than paying $200-$300 for a new phone.

  2. try this first.

let your battery die ..... no power.

take out of phone for 10 seconds.

then put it back together and make a full charge.

You are going totrick the memory. will think it is a new battery.

ex vz employee and used this in customer service.

    it does work

  3. let the phone die and then charge it completely and if it happens again you can buy a new battery from amazon or ebay
