Motorola L6 syncronisation

When I plug my Motorola L6 mobile phone into the computer via the USB lead, my Windows XP can't find any software on the computer nor on the web during the 'Found New Harware' process.
Do you know of any software so I can sync the phone without having to use Bluetooth?
