Motorola razer phone turned off

Question

motorola razer phone turned off so i charged it the phone got very warm and will not hold a charge the screen and lights will not come on when i close the flip on the phone you can tell it is on and none of the button work i can recive calls the phone is only about 6 months old has not been dropped not exposed to water. I don't have insurane on the phone so the lady on the phone when I called t moblie said there is nothing they can do to help and I needed to buy a new phone. How can I replace a new phone that seems to have manufaturer problems without haveing to buy a new phone when the one I have is news. Someone please help me.
