Mottos Blue looks strong for Ladbrokes.com 480
The legendary trainer C. Lister’s blue dog, Mottos Blue, looks to be a strong candidate for the high-stakes race of the Ladbrokes.com 480 that is going to take place at Monmore racecourse on Thursday night, August 9.
In the Open Race over 480 meters, the three-year-old veteran hound will confidently compete against five worthy rivals after breaking from the orange box. The dashing dog has proved his capabilities and skills at different venues so far since debuting in
December 2011.
The talented son of Droopys Scolari out of Mottos Dawn marvellously bagged a couple of consecutive victories during the last month. After winning the Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy - Heat 2, he finished first in the Stadium Bookmakers 480m Trophy – Final.
He had been the hot favourite candidate for both the races that took place at Nottingham.
Prior to this, the young and enthusiastic sprinter elegantly bagged the ace title of the Betfred Mobile Casino Sprint Trophy over 305 meters on July 2.
The brilliant sprinter also made some iconic marks during the early weeks of his career. As a whole, he poses to be a consistent performer who will be able to thrive convincingly in the coming contest.
Longwood Paddy will also fight hard for success. The C. Callow trained black dog broke his maiden in an A6 race over 525 yards on December 21, 2011. He moved ahead to bag four runner-up ranks in a row from May 25 to July 8, 2012.
After finishing 3rd in the Brandon Standard - Div C over 485 meters at Coventry on July 15, the talented son of Droopys Scolari out of Flomur Pebbles elegantly won the Stadium Bookmakers Standard over 450 meters at Oxford on August 3.
In this situation, a neck-to-neck clash is expected between Longwood Paddy and Mottos Blue. Success is going to be a tough task for each one.
Tonbrie Ji will also perform well tonight. The K. Billingham trained black dog elegantly bagged a couple of tremendous triumphs in February 2012. Earlier, he won Ladbrokes.com 480 on January 28.
So let us enjoy the exciting action at Monmore. Good luck to all the six hounds.
