thanks guys i have a science exam on rocks, volcanoes and plate tectonics on monday and i just had to double check that.

  3. If you used the energy you did by asking the question here to look it up on wikipedia, you would have gotten your answer as well as learned a lot more about Everest and the range it is located in. There is also a lot on rocks, volcanoes and plate tectonics - just a thought..

  5. Mt. Everest is definitely in the Himalayas. Standing at 8848 mtrs. above sea level makes it the highest peak in the world. Geographically, it is in the north-east of Kingdom of Nepal.
