Mountain Bike Help???

Question

Im looking for a good mountain bike that will mostly be used for road. I want it for a little trail riding and jumps. I want a hard tail not full suspension. Im thinking in price range from 500-700.

You are in luck all the major manufacturers make exactly what you are looking for. Head to you local bike shop and check them out. There are some good deals on hard-tails in this price range as they are better spec'd then the full susp. bikes in this price range.

I have a Trek 4500 that I ride to work everyday. Excellent bike in the price range you are looking at.

I've got a a pretty good one, its a toughie. its a trek 820. it pretty much rocks. its 350 bucks for it. only thing it is a steel bike cos im a cross country biker. its a hardtail too.

I have heard good things about the Gary fisher wahoo. It has front suspension but not rear. you should definitely check it out. I personally own the an older model of the wahoo with no suspension at all. its a great bike. i am sure you would love the newer version even more. its right at $500 bucks.
