Mountain High CA, rental question?

Question

in order to rent snowboard boots they require you to deposit $100 down via credit card. i was wondering instead of credit card, are you able to deposit cash instead???

Why not just rent from Chicks?  They are super cheap and easy to deal with.

Have you ever been to Mtn High?  Just a word of advice, WATCH YOUR STUFF!  High is such a sheisty place.  Kids there are always trying to steal your stuff and the mtn sucks.  Want some good advice, go to Big Bear.

why can't you just rent them there?

it's only $15....and you should use credit card, cash is too risky to use.
