  1. it looks like a crappy bike to me

  2. the bike is manufactured by a good trusted company but the components really dont have much going for them. The fork and shock look straight out of canadian tire. the disc brake rotors look like they are 10 years old and the calipers are probably just the same. I usually think that if a bike has plastic pedals, don't buy it. The seat and frame look like they could be worth something but not 380 dollars. IF you go to a good local bike shop, you could probably get a good bike for a little bit more. you also have to think about what kind of biking you are going to be doing and how well you are going to be doing it. If you do decide to go to a local  bike shop, please dont buy a used bike. No matter how good a deal, or how good it was a few years ago, it is used and must have some wear on it.

  3. idk

  4. do not get that bike its horible everything on it i would spend a bit more money and get a bike from your local bike shop way better bikes don't buy a bike from sport chek, Canadian tire, walmart ect...

  5. I would say save about $100 to $200 more than what you are paying for that dept store bike and go to a bike shop to get a much much better one. You can test ride a few and find one you like. Bike shops sometimes offer free tune ups and adjustments for a year or so. Or you could look on Craigslist or eBay as well as local newspapers for a better built bike. Not only does a real bike feel and ride much better, But they are safer on jumps and risky mountain biking. The one you buy from a bike shop will last longer and can be sold for more money when you decide to upgrade or if you lose interest in the sport. P.S.  Specialized and others have lifetime warranty to the original owners, ask your local bike shop for great deals on 2007 closeout models to save even more money. Good luck

  6. The bike looks crappy.  Generally, I advise against buying bikes from department  or general merchandise stores.

Its always better to buy bikes from you local bike shop, where you can get good advise and service or through trusted online bike stores like jensonusa.com, nashbar.com, performancebike.com, pricepoint.com, blueskycycling.com.
