Mountain dew glow in the dark?

Has anyone seen the clip of a guy making mountain dew glow in the dark using baking soda, peroide and some mountain dew, and actually tried it out? Did it glow in the dark?

I tried it and concluded it was a hoax

It doesnt really work.. people put the liquid part of a glowstick inside the mountain dew (the bottle's already opened before they made the video clip) & they just use mountain dew because its the same color as the green glowstick. peroxide & glowstick juice mixed together makes it start glowing.

I've seen the clip. Hubby and I wanted to try it, but before we did we looked it up on Snopes - it's not real.
