Question:

Mountain man rendezvous costume help please!?

I'm going to a rendezvous tomorrow. What is a quick and easy costume (for a female) to go and fit in...as best as possible of course. I don't have enough buckskin to make anything yet, so have to go another route. While I'm asking a question, anybody know any good websites showing what women wore before the 1840's? Native Americans and some colonial wear I know, I would just like to see pictures. Any and all help/suggestions any one can give me will be most helpful. I have a kilt from scotland and moccasins, would that work? any other ideas? Thanks
