Mountjoy Osprey and Sequential ready for hard battle in Coral On TV Standard Trophy - Heat 3
The opening two heats of Coral On TV Standard Trophy will undoubtedly be entertaining, but the third and final sprint is going to produce mega drama and thrill at Romford on Monday, May 14th.
The 400 metres Flat heat has no clear favourite, as both Mountjoy Osprey and Sequential are set to fancy their chances. So, the spectators are likely to witness a close battle between the two rampant hounds.
The Grade OR clash is scheduled to begin at 20:28 GMT. A cash prize of £150 is revered for the triumphant hound. The abovementioned pair is going to face following hounds: Droopys Bach, Bonnan Bui, Bit View Tornado and Romeo Colarado.
Mountjoy Osprey was pretty impressive at the start of this month. In a 225 metres Flat heat, the black and white dog secured the top rank by 3¾ lengths.
After such a brilliant performance, the hound failed to continue his good work and as a result, finished third last time around.
Today’s event is an ideal opportunity for the dashing hound to get back to the winning ways. However, it is not going to be an easy task for him, as Sequential is also determined to regain her winning momentum.
The black b***h has loads of ability and it will be interesting to see how she keeps her head high tonight. After accomplishing her hat-trick at Peterborough, David Pruhs’ trainee could not perpetuate her good work, when ran at Romford at the start of this
month.
In both of her previous races, the b***h finished third on the table. Hondo Black’s daughter certainly needs an extra effort to turn things around.
Droopys Bach, who recently ran in the Derby at Wimbledon, lacks a fast start. So, he is not in our shortlist. Similarly, Romeo Colarado does not have bright chances.
Bit View Tornado was runner-up in both of his previous races. Hence, he requires an extra punch today. Bonnan Bui’s chances are slim, but he is not entirely without hope.
A tug of war is expected between Mountjoy Osprey and Sequential. The latter gets our vote, because she has a better record at Romford. Good luck to everyone.
