Real Madrid boss, Jose Mourinho, commented on the UEFA ban on Malaga, and denied all speculations surrounding the January transfer window.
Earlier yesterday, Malaga were severely punished by UEFA for financial mismanagement. Now they are banned from taking part in any European competition they qualify for.
It is a measure that came as a shock to the club and it’s faithful. However, they vowed that they will seek justice.
The Real boss admitted that Malaga are good side who are doing great in all fronts this season. However, he declined to comment on why UEFA imposed this ban on the Andalusians. He is just hoping that things will be resolved soon.
“They’re having a very good season; they achieved their goal in the Champions League and are playing well. They have many variants, [http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roque-c31776] Santa Cruz, [Javier] Saviola. I am unable to comment on UEFA’s decision, but if they qualify for Europe again I hope
it can be solved.”
The ‘Special One’ was then asked about the possibility of Real reinforcing their squad in the transfer window come this January and if their Brazilian midfielder, Kaka, will stay at the club.
Mourinho thinks there will be no action in the transfer market for his club in this January and he doesn’t believe the playmaker will leave soon.
“I don’t think we’ll do anything in January. And I don’t think Kaka will leave either. If he stays it’s good for the team.”
Moreover, the 49-year-old admitted that things have not materialized as planned yet and also vented his anger on the press and said they don’t analyze their actions.
“Things are upside down. We do not analyze your work, but you do ours. If you do it honestly, you will spend Christmas alone. Otherwise your holidays will be less quiet.”
At the moment, it seems Los Blancos are fighting an already lost race in the Primera Division. The gap between them and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 have widened to 13 points.
Tonight the defending champions will take on an in-form Malaga at the Rosaleda stadium, who are on the 4th spot and five points behind Los Blancos.
