Despite winning 2-1, Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho, has admitted his team’s away encounter with Levante UD was a hard one
The youngster, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Álvaro-c5280 Morata, was the saviour of Real as he scored his first senior goal for the club and snatched an 84th minute goal against the Valencia-based club.
It was a tough encounter for both teams on Sunday night as rain poured down on the ground and dampened the pitch. However, it was the hosts, Levante, who seemed to take advantage of the wet condition on the ground.
Levante dominated the game with long balls and aggressive tackles which made Real Madrid pinned to the backline. However, it was Real who took the momentum and opened the score sheet of the night.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 was ready and didn’t hesitate to control a long ball from Xabi Alonso’ free-kick. He controlled it coolly on his feet and made sure that it ended up inside the net.
Levante were relentless as they continued their long passes and aggressive tackles.  After the interval the hosts kept going forward and put more pressure on Los Blancos, but shot-stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Iker-Casillas-c16815 was their main obstacle.
The Granotes were awarded for their hard work when their forward, Angel Rodriguez got one back for them and made things equal on the 63rd minute. However, it didn’t remain that way as Madrid finally got the killer goal, thanks
to Morata’s 84th minute strike.
Real coach, Jose Mourinho, has given his details about the game and the weather.
“It was a difficult match for everyone and we adapted to the conditions, but it was an honest fight between two honest teams that gave their all in search of the result."
“They reacted and equalised and without Cristiano Ronaldo it was more difficult.”
“For all those who have played football, well or badly, as children it was a party when you played in the rain and I think people enjoy it to a certain extent."
Mourinho has also praised his young star, Morata and said the player deserves all the praise and that he will play whenever Real Madrid’s key strikers are not available.
"He deserves the praise, not me. My praise comes from helping him grow, training him and not letting him go to another team.”
“We have [Gonzalo] Higuain and [Karim] Benzema and when they don’t play Morata will.”
Real cannot afford to slip up as they are already eight points behind http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604.
