Los Blancos were undone by Getafe at the Coliseum Alfonso Perez in their Spanish La Liga second round fixture, and have accumulated a single point from their two league encounters.
Real Madrid registered 32 wins, 120 goals and 100 points to stomp their authority in the Iberian Peninsula, bringing an end to 3 years of hegemony enjoyed by http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604. Their title defence did not start in the fashion they would have hoped for, a fact acknowledged
by head coach, Jose Mourinho.
Los Blancos took on the challenge of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Jonas-c18967 Goncalves nullified Gonzalo Higuain’s effort.
El Pipita scored once again against Getafe as Jose Mourinho and his men made a short trip across Madrid to Coliseum Alfonso Perez, but once again his goal was not enough to secure a victory.
Higuain’s goal was ruled out by a second half goal by El Geta as Valera hit the back of the net, taking full advantage of their wealthy rivals inefficiency at dealing with set-pieces. Abdelaziz Barrada completed the second half comeback by the hosts, with
about quarter an hour of normal proceedings remaining.
Jose Mourinho acknowledged that the Santiago Bernabeu based outfit have had a bad start to the league after securing a single point from the six on offer. He shared that while against Los Che Real Madrid should have won, Getafe deserved to defeat them at
the Coliseum.
“It’s too many points with six on offer. It is a bad start without doubt. The match against Valencia was different to this because we drew but deserved to win. Not this match. We deserved to lose in a match like today”.
However, the Special One with an impressive set of accomplishments on his resume refused to give into their inauspicious start to the season. He shared that it is a new experience for him with such a bad start but believes they will grow out of it over time.
“I don’t think it’s ever happened to me. But each season new things happen: I’d never won 100 points, or scored 120 goals. My career is getting longer and this is Real Madrid and it’s not normal that from six points available you only win one. The Super
Cup is different because it’s a knock-out competition. Today has been a horrible match”.
