The Portuguese mentor has taken out time to voice his opinion regarding the change of managers at the Stamford Bridge and has revealed that he is not happy with anyone being relieved of their duties.
Real Madrid head coach Jose Mourinho has expressed that it makes him unhappy whenever a manager is sacked. He made the statement in regard of the current situation at the English Premier League outfit, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786.
The Blues recently sacked http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo as their manager. The club made the decision after they were defeated by a score of 3-0 against Juventus in the group stages of the UEFA Champions League.
The match that took place at Turin saw the defending champions of Europe completed outclassed by the current Italian Serie A giants. Chelseas’s previous fixture was a defeat against West Bromwich Albion in the English Premier League.
As a result the club revealed that due to the recent results and the disappointment faced by the Stamford Bridge outfit, Di Matteo will be relieved off his duties.
In addition to this, the club also revealed Rafael Benitez as their head coach. Although the Spaniard is only taking over the club on a caretaker basis and does not have a long term contract with the Blues.
Speaking in regard of the situation, Mourinho stated that he is displeased with how things have turned out for Chelsea this season.
The Special One himself once managed the Premier League outfit and parted ways with them after spending 3 and a half seasons at the English capital.
Mourinho also offered his best wishes to Rafa Benitez and stated that he hopes the best for Chelsea in the future.
"I'm never happy when a manager is sacked," said Mourinho, who was speaking after seeing Madrid book their place in the Champions League last 16 with a 1-1 draw at Manchester City.
"Because if it happens to them, it can happen to me. I never enjoy when a manager is sacked. I always feel sorry for him and his family, because our lives are very, very similar. I'm not happy with any situation (like this), but everyone knows I like my
old teams. I like Chelsea, I like http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 (Milan), I like Porto.
"I like them to win, so I always wish good to the managers of my former clubs. So I wish good to Benitez."
