The Portuguese mentor has voiced his opinion regarding the young midfielder, asserting that a switch to a Premier League club could do him good.
Real Madrid’s head coach, Jose Mourinho, has expressed that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Nuri-Sahin-c28251 will probably join an English club before the end of the summer transfer window.
The veteran tactician is of the opinion that a year-long move to a new side can prove to be beneficial for the Turk’s career.
The former Borussia Dortmund player has experienced a rough time ever since he joined the Spanish giants. Although the footballer had great hopes attached to him before he came to the Santiago Bernabeu, he has been unable to perform up to the expectations.
Initially, the Turkish international had to endure fitness and injury-related issues which kept him side-lined for an extended period of time. It was almost mid-season when the central midfielder was announced fit to play.
However, he found it increasingly difficult to find a spot in the starting eleven of the Santiago Bernabeu outfit. For obvious reasons, lack of game time upset the player who had been named the ‘Player of the Year’ in the German Bundesliga in the previous
season.
In addition to this, Mourinho gave several hints to Sahin, suggesting that he was not part of his plans in the foreseeable future.
Although the tactically gifted footballer remained loyal to the Blancos, it became harder and harder for him to settle at the Spanish capital.
Therefore, it is believed that the Turkish international will soon be moving to a new club. According to reports, both Arsenal and Liverpool are interested in his services.
While talking to reporters, Mourinho was quoted as saying:
“I want him to play, for him to go somewhere to play. The Premier League could teach him new aspects of his game but I don’t mind where he goes. It’s not at all true that there’s any one club to which I would prefer that he went. It doesn’t matter to me,
I just hope that it’s sorted for him soon. It’s absolutely fine with me whether he goes to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Liverpool-c39809 or Tottenham.”
At the moment, there is no telling about which club will land the 23-year-old, however, it will be interesting to find out his final decision.
