The “Special One” had admired both, Kaka and Ramos, after winning 4-1 against Ajax in the Champions League game.
It was overall a great night for Real Madrid.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-Ronaldo-c9629 contributed to the trashing of Ajax last night by scoring a hat-trick. However, Mourinho was much more pleased with the performance of Kaka and also admired the return of his centre-back, Ramos, who was at odds with him lately.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-c33030 Ramos’ output against Ajax, hailing him for his performance, whilst also revealing that he has no qualms with the Spanish international.
Continuing on the topic, Mourinho claimed that it is his responsibility to get the most out of his players and believes Ramos has greatly improved after seeing out the match against Manchester City on the bench.
“He [Ramos] played very well,” Mourinho began in his post-match Press conference. “My http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 is to get players to perform, and he has had three very good performances since being left on the bench against Manchester City."
When asked whether Kaka and Ozil would start against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 on Sunday, the Special One gave a coy answer. He claimed that while such questions can be raised in a press conference, the reporters cannot expect him to dignify them with one.
However, Mourinho revealed that he has no problems with the duo competing for a first-team place, sharing that it is part and parcel of his job as a football coach and that he will chose his players based on their sole performances and the technical requirements
of that particular game.
“All I can say is that today one played and the other was on the bench. I decided this would be a good match for the characteristics of Kaka and as a result of his minutes in the friendly against Millionaros and his 45 minutes against Deportivo La Coruna.”
Now that Real have put together a feat of victories with great performances and Ramos is now in good terms with his coach, it seems that Real are now ready both, mentally and physically, for their big clash against their arch-rivals, Barcelona, at Camp
Nou on Sunday night.
