The Portuguese mentor has taken a jibe at the current English champions, claiming that money has no competition against prestige and history.
Real Madrid head coach, Jose Mourinho, has called out his side’s opponents this midweek, Manchester City, warning them that money cannot buy them a status as great as Los Blancos.
The nine-time European champions are set to lock horns with the Barclay’s English Premier League outfit in their opening match of their UEFA Champions League campaign.
The match that will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu will see the Citizens travel to the Spanish capital on Tuesday.
