The Special One has taken out time to express his views regarding the players who were responsible for the defeat suffered by Los Blancos in midweek.

Real Madrid head coach, Jose Mourinho, has lashed out at his players following his side’s defeat in the Copa del Rey. Although the trainer pointed out a number of factors which contributed towards the loss, he reserved special criticism for his players.
It appears that Raphael Varane is the only player who seems to have evaded the wrath of the Portuguese mentor. Mourinho was critical regarding the team’s overall performance. He emphasized that the players playing up front were generally poor.
The manager even went on to claim that he could have fielded youngster Morata, as the players who have a cemented spot in the line-up were not seen making a real effort for a victory.
Madrid travelled away from home in order to lock horns with Celta Vigo in the first leg of their Copa del Rey knock-out fixture. To the dismay of the Santiago Bernabeu faithful, Los Merengues were humbled to a 2-1 defeat in the match.
Although http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Cristiano-c9622 Ronaldo’s late goal has given the Whites the advantage of an away goal, it is surely a disappointing result for them to be defeated like this.
The players who have come under strong scrutiny are Angel di Maria and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Karim-Benzema-c20350. The attacking midfielder and the striker were the ones who received most the criticism. Although it was not Mourinho who pointed this out, a number of other professionals
observed that Di Maria and Benzema were generally sloppy during the fixture.
"Better Morata than a player that isn't up for it, who most who might not have been so keen to play this game. The cold, the rain, a cup match," the 49-year-old quoted.
"Leaving Morata out was my decision, because that's my http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684, to make decisions, sometimes they're correct and other times they're wrong. Varane was a champion. Even though he was carrying a knock he still did better than others who weren't injured."
Real Madrid are currently 3rd in the Spanish Primera Division’s league standings.
