The former Real Madrid director is usually seen pointing fingers at the current coach, Jose Mourinho, and the Portuguese indirectly made a point when he spoke about the signing of Mesut Ozil and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sami-Khedira-c32325.
The former Real Madrid director, Valdano, apparently left the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 at the Bernabeu because of the Portuguese mentor, Jose Mourinho.
Most recently, Jose Mourinho targeted Valdano and spoke about how he was the one who managed to sign exceptional players for Los Blancos and helped the side become what it is today.
Real Madrid, while playing under Jose Mourinho, lost their first Spanish La Liga title; however, later, the former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan boss led them to their first domestic league title in four years.
Moreover, Mourinho also helped Los Blancos win the Copa del Rey in his very first season in charge of the club. And last season he also took the Spanish giants to the semi-final stage of the UEFA Champions League, but unfortunately they lost the game to
the German giants, Bayern Munich.
While speaking about how he has helped Real Madrid become what it is today, Jose Mourinho said:
“If we analyse, we must do so with justice. Nobody here knew [Sami] Khedira. The person hypothetically responsible for this work didn't know who he was. They didn't know he was in the last year of his contract and we could get him very cheap, nor that [Mesut]
Ozil was having problems with Werder Bremen.”
Jose Mourinho also spoke about http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Hamit-Altintop-c15652, who many people think has not been a success for Los Blancos.
The Portuguese mentor believes that even though Altintop did not give a lot to Real Madrid, he still joined the Spanish side for a very good price, but he was unlucky as he got injured.
“Hamit Altintop? A sporting failure, but an economic success. We signed him then he got injured.”
Jose Mourinho is currently struggling in the Spanish La Liga as Los Blancos are currently eight points behind their arch-rivals, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, and also their cross town rivals, Atletico Madrid, as both these teams are currently at the top of the Spanish La
Liga points table.
