Barcelona and Real Madrid will be facing each other over the coming weekend and Jose Mourinho believes that a Champions League game during the midweek is motivation enough for anything.
Real Madrid will be taking on Ajax before they take on their arch-rivals, Barcelona, over the upcoming weekend.
While Real Madrid will be concentrating on staying on top of their UEFA Champions League group, the whole is awaiting El Clasico which is scheduled to take place on the 7th of October, 2012.
The fierce rivalry between the two clubs is the reason why the game between these two Spanish giants is always highly anticipated.
There are comments from both the benches flying in, admitting that both the teams are not thinking about each other as they have to play in the Champions League during the midweek.
However, there is no doubt that the Champions League game in the midweek is only going to be a practice match for these two European giants and they are going to try and do their best in order to take all three points in the European competition’s group
stage and prepare better for El Clasico.

The two Spanish giants are going to collide on the 7th of October and the fixture is highly anticipated because it is Madrid’s first chance to personally close the gap between them and their arch-rivals, Barcelona.
The Catalan giants are currently eight points above Real Madrid. While Los Blancos have drawn one and lost two games, Barcelona have won each and every game in the Spanish La Liga.
