The Real Madrid manager has stated that his stint at the Spanish capital may not come down to success in the Champions League.
Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho is regarded as one of the finest managers to have graced the game of football in the recent times, and he may even be called as one of the best in the entire history of the beautiful game.
The manager has gone on to lift the prestigious European crown as a manager on 2 occasions. The first win came when he was the manager of Portuguese side http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Porto-c39186 amid amazing circumstances as he led his comrades past the finish line.
Mourinho then went on to lead Italian giants http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan to the famous European crown in 2009-2010 season, overcoming great hurdles with a below average Inter Milan squad.
My friend ‘Arsi Shahid , who is sitting right next to me, claims that the wily tactician has had a habit of leaving clubs when he comes up with the elusive European crown.
Same is expected from the Special One as he looks to bring La Decima home for the Santiago Bernabeu faithful.
A long awaited spring has been in the horizons for Los Blancos fans, ever since Zinedine Zidane’s famous kick from heavens sealed the 9th title for the Madrid based side. the trophy that they think actually belongs to them.
Jose Mourinho was brought in to overcome the global dominance of Real’s bitter rivals http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 and he kind of paid back the trust of the board by leading Los Blancos to La Liga title last year, bringing an end to Barcelona’s 4-year dominance.
The time is considered best for the Spanish Champions to have their say on the European accolade, but Mourinho thinks that even winning the title may not guarantee his stay with the club beyond this season.
"I never base my decisions on whether I win or not," Mourinho told The Sun.

"I work at the top level every day, thinking only about the club and never worrying about myself."
Real have marched on to the quarter finals of the competition at the expense of English giants Manchester United, but amid controversial circumstances, one’s which Mourinho also claimed were un-called for.
