Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, has expressed that his future at the Bernabeu will not depend on Real Madrid winning the Champions League title.
The Portuguese mentor maintained that a European triumph will not be a determining factor in deciding his future at the Spanish Capital.
Mourinho believes it is more important for him to be victorious in the Spanish La Liga at the moment and argued that a team’s real test is to win the domestic league.
The 49-year-old added that the Spanish Primera Division is the most competitive league in the world and winning it would be his ultimate achievement. Mourinho believes that any team can strike luck in the Champions League and win it, while it is a much harder
task to be successful domestically.

"With Porto, I left because I thought it was the time to leave - I had other ambitions, and with http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 I [had] decided to leave before the final. For me, the league, in its conception, is so important because the best team always wins it. In the Champions
League, the team that wins is not always the best.
"When you win the league, it's very good for a coach's self-esteem, because he knows he has done well throughout the year."
Therefore, Mourinho is currently emphasizing on winning the Liga BBVA and also hinted towards a stay at Real Madrid.
According to reports, by stating that a Champions League triumph does not affect the length of his tenure at Los Blancos, the Portuguese mentor has hinted that he is going to stay with the Spanish Giants beyond the end of the current season.
The Real head coach went on to discuss his side’s midweek clash against CSKA Moscow. He conceded that the tough weather conditions in the Russian capital may influence the result of the game.
"The cold cannot influence us. It's not fair to be playing in these temperatures, but players' mentality will have to draw strength from their mentality,” he stated.
