The Special One has sent out a message to his players and has told them to improve on their current performance.
Real Madrid head coach, Jose Mourinho, believes that every member of the Blancos squad needs to improve as they are yet to perform at their best this season.
The veteran trainer asserted that a significant amount of effort is required for his players to start playing like the last season.
Mourinho made the statement while discussing his side’s current situation in the Spanish La Liga and the UEFA Champions League.
Los Vikingos have not been able to make the best start to the season this term. In fact, the initial phase of the current league campaign was rather disappointing. The Whites drew their first match of the season and lost two matches in quick succession afterwards.
Their first victory came in the third match of the season.

Nevertheless, they are performing quite well at the moment. Their recent match was a 5-0 victory over Mallorca.
The reason to worry for Mourinho’s men is probably in the Champions League where they are faced with the English, Dutch and German champions in the group stage. The Whites managed to secure victories over Manchester City and Ajax, however winning against
Borussia Dortmund proved to be a bridge too far for the nine-time European champions.
In addition to this, the number of players absent from the squad is another issue. Mourinho also discussed this and insisted that the Santiago Bernabeu outfit are strong enough to deal with the injuries.
Considering the performance of the players, Mesut Ozil was one of the players who had received criticism due to his performance dip at the start of the season.
When asked about Ozil’s improvement, Mourinho answered:
"What? Has he improved? Really? He's playing same as others, they all need to improve.”
"To win we must play well. Because when we don't, we don't win. Other teams have more luck, in certain details, and can win without playing well."
