Real Madrid’s head coach, Jose Mourinho, has expressed that he wants his players to be unselfish in the upcoming midweek Champions League clash against Jupp Heynckes’ men.
Los Blancos are set to play host to German Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich in the second leg of the UEFA Champions League semi-finals. The match that will take place at the Santiago Bernabeu has the home side’s hopes hanging over it as it is their last chance

However, a number of players in the Madrid line-up are merely one booking away from been given a mandatory one-match suspension, which means that if the players are booked in the next match and Madrid emerge victorious then they will miss the final of the
prestigious competition.

Mourinho has emphasized that his players need to subside the fear of being suspended and play unselfishly for Madrid’s cause, as it may play a dominating role in determining a winner in Wednesday’s clash.
Having lost the first leg of the semi-final, Los Merengues are in need of a 1-0 victory at home in order to qualify for the European showdown.
The result of the first leg was 2-1, with the Bavarians emerging victorious over the Spanish giants. Although Real have the advantage of an away goal, they cannot approach the match with complacency and every factor surrounding the encounter needs to be
addressed.
Mourinho has taken out time to address the issue of his players facing suspension in the final.
While talking to reporters, the 49-year-old was quoted as saying:
"Every player has to know that Real Madrid reaching the final is more important than them being there. Players can't be selfish. I would take a suspension now so that we make a final. A player has to be the same.”
