  1. a tank is the best way to go with mice .. they can squeeze through any thing !

you might want to think about getting something for them to chew on to help keep them busy and file their teeth down as well.

    somethign like this,

  2. if you are going to use a glass tank, be sure to use a good bedding, like Carefresh. Make sure you get a tight fitting lid for the tank. You can also buy toys, mice like to play!

  3. toys?

  4. ok so that is the cage your getting the wheel you should get is a none wire wheel because it can seriously damage their tails. lots of stuff you can get online or at the pet store like:

-an exersise ball so when your cleaning out his cage you have something to keep him busy just be careful that the top does not come off when he is running( they enjoy running around the house in that)

    -care fresh bedding

    - the possibilities are endless like treats, you can buy fancy cages for mice that keep them busy, you can buy tunnels that he can run around in and you can make them connect differently. hard chewing toys and treats that help keep your mouse's teeth in good condition.

  5. That's it. Sounds good.

  6. shredded paper is good for nest-building behavior.

  7. You can give him lots of toys, like toilet rolls, cardboard boxes, tree branches, ladders, ropes, hammocks, egg cartons, tubes, and heaps more!

Make cardboard boxes more fun by cutting holes in them.

Connect the different levels in his home with ladders, ropes and even hammocks.

To make a hammock, just cut a piece out of an old t-shirt or cloth, and just safety-pin it up in his cage.

Many household items can be used as toys for your mouse, just as long as they are safe.

If you don't want to chuck out your old water bottle, then to connect it to his tank, you can either get a metal coat hanger and shape it so that the bottle sits in the hook, while the other bit hooks over the edge of the tank.

You can use these to add more levels and floor space to your cage:

    Have fun with your mouse!

  8. Water bottle of course, and bedding. You can put something in there that he can climb up, paper towel roll propped up, just keep the top screen secure.
