Mouse food problem PLEASE HELp PLEASE!?

i have had a bag of mousee food for like 3 weeks and now it has maggots in it or something that have webs and there globs of the food stuck together, and i noticed it cuz i get a scoop everyday for my mice, and i started seeing maggots in their cage... i dont knwo they have like webbs in the bag too... Please how did it happen? my house is spotlessly clean and everything i dont knwo what its from or how it happened... their smaller than maggots tho i think... idk

They could have come already sealed in the bag during processing and such. Chuck the food and get a fresh bag.

throw their food away, u need to change their food about every week and a half, if they arent going to eat all the food you bought in that much time, buy a smaller bag.  If it happens again, take it into the shop u bought it from and complain

This isn't necessarily anything to do with how clean your house is...If you leave a piece of chicken out of the fridge for three weeks, what happens? No matter how "spotlessly" clean your house is, food will go off if it is not stored correctly.

Throw this bag away and in future, when buying mouse food, store it in an air tight plastic container and away from direct sunlight. This not only prolongs the "life" of the food but also keeps it lovely and fresh.
