Mousse or Gel?? HELP!! 10pts?

Question

my hair is a tiny bit poofy and my ends go right down and i want my hair to curl at the bottom so what should i use. Herbal essences tottaly twisted mousse or herbal essences totally twisted gel?? Because i wanted to use mousse but i heard it can only be used on wet hair and i want something i can use on dry hair so is it possible for me to use mousse on dry hair? or should i just use the gel? and would the gel make my hair curl if i put the gel on then put curlers in my hair? Thanks!!! please help!

It depends... Do you want your hair to look wet all the time or dry. If you like the wet look go for gel. If you like the dry look, go for mousse

What about using a wax type product..like a pomade of some sort and follow with hairspray.

mousse can be used on dry hair but it's better on wet hair so i think you should use the gel and then put the curlers in to make the bottom curl. it would definitely work well.

You can use mouse on dry hair.  I do it all the time.  I think mouse is lighter and gel is thicker and stickier so it drives me nuts.

You can also get a spray bottle, just a small one from the dollar store, and spritz the ends and then you can use the mouse on the ends to make them curl, because for the gel to work the way you want, then you would have to have  your whole head of hair wet, just give it a try, hope it works!!

they are both wonderful products but for your hair try the pantene pro v curl defyning spray in a cream bottle with red writing and make sure it is the spray gel and not the hairspray

Typically both are for wet hair.  But I guess the gel would be better for dry hair.  Mousse is used really for the root area to provide lift. Gels are betterfor the rest of the hair.

mousse. cause gel gives like a sticky feeling to your hair and it kinda smells weird sometimes.

and mousse will probably shape your hair into the curls you want. :)
