Mouth,hand and foot Virus, Why do kids get this?

my son has this virus the doc said to give him motrin for pain and fever, i just looked in my sons mouth and it looks horrible i feel really bad for him. i told him to rinse his mouth with warm water and salt but it's not helping, what else can he do? thanks

OMG!!  Your doctor sounds like a dumb-@ss.  There is a medicine for that and your child should have it ASAP.  Take your child to a new doctor, that's the first step.
