what mouth guards do you guys u use thats NOT a custom built one? Whats the best out there?

  1. Great question.

    I'm not sure where you're from, but so long as you go to a sports store, aim for one that's around $20.  You mould them yourself, so you still get that "custom fit", without the price of one made specifically for your teeth.  Essentially though, you get the same protection.

    Certain companies (Fox 40, etc)  will guarentee that you don't sustain injuries due to the mouthguard, and will even insure you.  This means that in the unlikely event that you get a concussion or teeth injury, you're eligible for thousands of dollars in funds.

    Just remember that your teeth and your health are worth it, and always follow the directions on the package.  If you don't get a fit that you like, start over and try again with the same mouthguard.

  2. I've used Brain-Pad for about 5 years now for boxing, muay thai, and jiu jitsu. Once you heat up and mold the guard to your teeth, it's pretty much perfect.
