Move a show from a Time Warner DVR Box to a PC by USB cable?

I wanted to find out how to move a show from a Time Warner DVR Box to a PC (MCE) by USB cable and what the steps are to do this or where I may be able to find it on the Web. I have not had much luck finding the answer.

Hi there. You are not going to find much on this subject. The problem is that most cable companies have dummy ports on their cable boxes. They do not actually work. The other problem is that you can remove information from this box. It will not allow it without removing the hard drive, which you don't want to do, as you signed for the box with them and they will charge for the box damage. There is a copy write infringement issue, which is why it can not be done.
