Move to blackpool from birmingham, help please?

Hi, struggling abit, me and my friend live in birmingham uk, and want move to blackpool to a council house 2 bedroom or 3 if possible. As my friend is disabled and she has usher syndrome type one, and cannot walk very well now well not far distances, we need to know the very best areas to live in blackpool, as we need to be close to shops, beach, town ect, just basically local, but we have no idea where and how to start searching. we have a blackpool council form and have a list of areas thats all but doesnt tell us what the area is like, and if its suitable for my friends needs.

Please if you have any suggestions we be very grateful.

And if need to know the areas i have on the blackpool form just ask and i dont mind typing them down.

Also i have two maps and there no good. i prefer pictures and someone who actually knows about the area if possible

Please help if anyone can.

Are you certain that you want to live in Blackpool?  You might be better off somewhere like Southport instead. I don't think Blackpool has very much going for it.

I agree with Bouncer. It sounds like your friend needs to be somewhere quieter. All the best.

If you want to live near town its the roughest area - good luck

also council properties are on council estates and there full of asbo teens and druggies - blackpools not a nice place to live
