  1. Excellent site http://www.immi.gov.au/asri/index.htm

At the moment skilled workers are getting top priority.

Most schools are OK, try applying for a Job before you get here it would help heaps

    Best of luck

  2. it is very difficult to immigrate to Australia.

you need to pass a points test to qualify.

you would have to apply under the skilled workers visa and need to be skilled and experienced in an occupation that Australia needs

the cut off age or applying for this visa is 45 so already you wont get many points in the age category

this site will show you everything you need to know

    this is the points test

  3. first answer is pretty spot on.

at the moment, perth is absolutely crying out for skilled workers.  many, many businesses are struggling to survive through lack of workers.  if you meet the criteria, you shouldn't have ANY problems getting work here.

housing prices in perth have tripled the last few years though and i reckon they wouldn't be that far behind those in the UK.

try looking on seek.com.au for jobs and realestate.com.au for housing to get a feel for what you are in for.

  4. Go to this website http://www.gowestnow.wa.gov.au which will tell you about all of this. The WA Health Dept is recruiting nurses from overseas right now, and scaffolders are always in demand in Perth as well.
