Movealong Karen likely to prevail in 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 4
Movealong Karen is likely to prevail in the 2012 Sporting Press Irish Oaks Round 1 Heat 4 at Shelbourne Park in Ireland on Thursday, May 24, 2012. A cash prize of €100 has been set for the winner of the 525 yard race.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 21:25 GMT and following entries have been confirmed for it: Caretaker Jo, Ballyverry Girl, Movealong Karen, Kranky Rosaleen, Winning Impact and Coolbeg Gemma.
All runners are relatively inexperienced and it will be difficult to judge the exact winner. However, Movealong Karen has performed exceptionally well since making debut and will definitely be the top contender for victory.
The O'Brien’s trainee has never taken part in a Grade OR event, but he has done well in lower classes. She has taken part in three races until now, winning all of them comprehensively.
Looking at the dominant performances of the white b***h, it will be difficult to stop her from winning the race. Although things will not be easy for her in this class, she has the tools to succeed against the best in the business.
Movealong Karen took part in a solo run recently and displayed good speed in it. In addition to that, her stamina is also quite good, which suggests that she will enjoy a lot of success in the future.
In her most recent run, the lightening quick b***h won by four lengths and a similar show is expected from her today. She is the daughter of Mustang Yank out of Movealong Sutty and was born in October 2009.
On the other hand, Caretaker Jo is comparatively more experienced than her rivals and she has performed well in Grade OR events. She has won a few times in this class and the punters might risk some money in her favour as well.
However, the Roche’s trained b***h was unable to deliver a solid show in her most recent outing in this class, as she finished fourth in it. She was given decent odds, but was not quick enough to match her rivals in the end.
The momentum seems to be with Movealong Karen, but anything can happen in racing, as it is an unpredictable sport.
