Moved--my gov. stimulus check?

I moved, and let my post office know, but they said I need to let the IRS and other mailers that we moved. Apparently, the change of address only cover certain classes of mail! What does this mean and what else should I do? I want to make sure we get our stimulus check.

yeh they are right. you need to call irs. when u did your taxes they should have been alerted of ur new address. child support chks and chks from them dont get forwared becuz they always need a current address. (irs always knows how to find you). if you did a direct deposit for your refund they would send direct to your account. otherwise you have to wait longer becuz after those are sent out then they go by lst 2 ss# 's. i heard 90-99 sending out week of the 15th (june). gl
